A man in the United States could have made it as Forbes number 1 richest man on Earth with a $92 quadrillion windfall coming from PayPal last June, a CNN news report said Thursday. Chris Reynolds' account balance swelled to a whopping $92,233,720,368,547,800 which he saw in his emailed statement of account for the month of June from PayPal. When he checked his account online, the balance was brought back to $0, the correct amount. PayPal admitted the error and offered to donate an unspecified amount of money to a cause of Reynolds' choice.

Before this incident, the most Reynolds ever made on PayPal was "a little over $1,000" selling a set of vintage BMW tires on eBay. He is a Pennsylvania PR executive who sells auto parts in online marketplace eBay.
